Karlovac, April 2019 – Back in autumn last year, Römerberg-based engineering services company INP International Projects established an additional international subsidiary under the management of Marijan Petrunic and Knut Mertens.
The young, motivated team in the local company INP Croatia d.o.o. rolled up their sleeves and set up an “amazing, modern and bright office with a great deal of personal commitment and good ideas” in the center of the city of Karlovac, says Knut Mertens. Together with fellow INP International Projects manager Georg Jester, he traveled to Croatia especially for the official opening. The festivities took place on April 11 in the new premises and took the form of a champagne reception, which was attended by staff and numerous guests. “Cake and champagne with an INP design, and a jumble of languages, including English, German, Croatian and Austrian – it was a highly successful INP intercultural celebration,” was how Jester summarized the event on his return. Mertens added: “We were extremely impressed by the high levels of motivation and commitment of the entire local team.”
INP Croatia was established to support INP industrial and energy customers from all over Europe, particularly in projects in Croatia and surrounding countries.
The office in Karlovac offers services in the area of I&C engineering, process and control technology, construction supervision, and commissioning. The local employees rely on a broad, manufacturer-independent know-how in the field of control technology and automation technology and electrical engineering. Due to their extensive experience in power plants and large industrial plants, the highly trained experts can carry out detailed analyses of existing plants and develop proposals for increasing quality and effectiveness. As part of the INP Group, INP Croatia can draw on the entire network and resources of INP International Projects worldwide. This ensures that customer requirements can be met quickly, comprehensively and reliably in the high quality accustomed by INP.
With this new location in Southern Europe, the INP Group already has eleven locations worldwide and leads the continuous growth of the past 30 years.
