INP Hiking Day

This year's hiking day last weekend led many hiking enthusiasts through the autumnal Palatinate Forest.

We started at the forest parking lot of the Waldgaststätte close to the Friedensdenkmal in Edenkoben.
Then the path led past the NATO bunker, the Bellachini fountain, the Tina-Will-Blick hut and the poet's grove. For refreshment we had a Palatinate picnic with "Schörllsche" (wine spritz) and "Lewwerworschdebrot" (translation impossible ;-)) at the Sandwiesenweiher.

Afterwards, we continued at a brisk pace through the sunny, warm forest back to the starting point at the peace monument. At the end of the day in the forest restaurant, the day could be reviewed once again with the Palatinate Forest Hiking Adventure Quiz, in which the first INP hiking trophy was awarded for the victory.

And because such beautiful days always go by much too quickly, we are simply looking forward to the next joint INP event!
