The Vestforbraending project is a complete rebuild of the waste incineration line 6 of the plant in Copenhagen.
Project description
The plant is laid out for 270,000 tons of waste per year, and provides the city of Copenhagen with about 25 MW of electrical power, and community heating of about 75 M J/s.
INP International Projects supplied the following scope for the turbines, generator, and steam system:
INP services
- Basic and detail engineering of controls systems
- Procurement and delivery of all hardware for controls systems and instrumentation
- Planning and supply of LV system (0.4kV)
- Planning and supply of MV system (10kV)
- Carrying out controls enclosure planning and manufacture
- Carrying out FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests)
- Installation of all components and wiring
- Commissioning
- Test operation
